Adaminaby to Kiandra
This road is great fun for experienced riders but make sure you go easy until you know the road as there are decreasing radius corners in both directions.
Just before Kiandra watch out for a crest followed closely by a 45km corner.
Elliott’s Way
The first section is tight and twisty (25/35km corners) downhill to the inlet of Talbingo Reservoir. This is followed by a lovely 15km run along the river followed by some more 25 - 35km uphill twisties opening up into a series of open and closed sweepers*. This road is narrow with no centre line.
Although this road is tight, it is a great option for beginners as it is a shorter route.
Beware of falling rocks after rain and brumbies are often on the road near Dead Horse Gap.
* Open sweepers = being able to see beyond the corner
* Closed sweepers = corners that are blocked by trees or rock face, etc
